About The Photographer

        Well Hello! My name is Krista Valdez. I first picked up a camera when I was 15 and decided to never put it down. Starting in nature and landscape photography I didn't think I would even end up in portriture. I loved the simplicity of nature and how I could show my view of it in any way I wanted to. Art, I suppose is the representation of one's own self and/or the way they see the world around them. Never wanting to put myself into a photography class, event photography was what would launch my career. Youth camps, conferences, internships with the newspaper.
         My second move to Missouri would be my final destination. Not long after I started Kay V. Photography, in 2009, I realized Chemistry--my major for quite some time--was not going to be my future. Taking the reins now and grasping the fact that Photography will forever be apart of me. I will begin my schooling in Art Spring 2012. I will further my passion of Fashion Photography which grew after working in portriture for so long.
          I am based in St. Louis, MO but love to travel back home to California as often as possible. Specializing in Seniors, Engagements, Fashion, and Events.
